The TEDx Somerville Bloggers Lounge

Today I’m hanging out in the Assembly Row Bloggers Lounge at TEDx Somerville — and in keeping with the TEDx theme of  “Ideas Worth Spreading” I’m planning to spread my blogging and tweeting (@BobbieC and @MassInno) around the different channels I have access to.  I’ll try to make them appropriate to the channels.

If you don’t know TEDx, allow me to introduce you.  (I’m hoping you know TED because that makes it easier.  “TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading — through TED.com, our annual conferences, the annual TED Prize and local TEDx events”.)  TEDx is the version of TED that is locally produced.  A group of volunteers get together to organize the grassroots events.  And, wow, do they need a whole bunch of organizing!  These are as far from our messy grassroots Mass Innovation Nights events as you can possibly get.  TEDx is wonderfully produced and curated.

So, the house band is rocking, the first speaker is on (talking about questions) and we’re off.
