It was a cold morning in February but we quickly warmed up in Oficio’s 30 Newbury Street location. They have two locations – the other on 129 Newbury Street has dedicated offices while this location is the open coworking space.

Newbury Street between 8-10 am (Hint: before the stores open) must be one of the best kept parking secrets in Boston, we were able to park right in front of the door! In the summer, it will be a nice walk through the park from the Boston Garden garage too!

We grabbed a cup of gourmet coffee (taught a few folks how to work the Nespresso) and had some breakfast goodies with more than the dozen others who weathered the cold. We recognized some of our Mass Innovation Nights alumni (Hello Daily General Counsel!) and made new friends. The group was lively with diverse backgrounds. Those in attendance quickly made connections and networked to everyone’s benefit. The group was so lively we had to remind everyone Innovation Breakfast ends at 10am – the space in Oficio is so inviting it was hard to leave.

Oh, and did we mention the great art work from Shawn Salinger adorning the walls. We hear Oficio will have a gallery exhibition in March – we cannot wait!  Thanks to the team at Oficio!
